Sophie Greenbaum
LA jBabies Community Connector for Valley Families

I’m so thrilled to be an LA jBabies Community Connector. As a mommy of three, I understand the special and transformative blessing of becoming a parent.

I was always passionate about creating a Jewish home, and becoming a mom inspired me even further — and made me realize the importance of building a supportive village.

Before diving into motherhood, I spent many years in the music industry as a songwriter. Outside of mom life and serving my community, I love learning Gemara — a central part of the Talmud, which is a collection of Jewish teachings and discussions — and Jewish mysticism, going to the beach, and cooking yummy meals with farmers market finds.

I’m incredibly excited to connect with you, support you on your journey,  and serve your family during this sacred time.

“My favorite PJ Library book is “Just Look At You” by Bara Bat-Shem. I love reading this book with my kids — learning our body parts in Hebrew, thinking about the miracle of something as simple as our breath. There’s a mirror on the final page, where we learn that we ourselves are miracles, and I have my kids say ‘I love you!’ to themselves. A wonderful book and message for kids and adults alike.”

We can’t wait to meet you.

People are at the heart of everything we do. Driven by relationships and powered by the Federation, our team works with shared purpose and values to create extraordinary community experiences.
