Sarah Epstein
LA jBabies Community Connector for City Families
I’m thrilled to be an LA jBabies Community Connector, and am excited to help you navigate the exciting journey of parenthood.
An LA native, I spent more than a decade living in New York and Texas. Moving back, I was eager to reconnect with the local Jewish world. My professional background spans from working in college admissions and college counseling to teaching positive psychology courses, which I’ve integrated into my work with the Jewish community.
In my free time, I like cooking and hosting, exploring the best farmers markets and tea lattes, and spending time in nature with my family.
When my husband and I had our first child in the summer of 2023, I was especially eager to find mom groups and baby classes. We were so happy to join LA jBabies as a family. It’s such a special time, and I hope you’ll be able to lean on one another and create a great tribe as new parents. I can’t wait to meet all of you!
“PJ Library’s “A Thank You Walk,” by Nancy Loewen, is my favorite book to read with my family. It blends gratitude and mindfulness beautifully — a wonderful reminder for both children and adults to appreciate the simple joys around us. As we follow the characters on their walk, we’re reminded to pause, take in the beauty of nature, and count our blessings, from birds singing to flowers blooming. It’s a heartwarming way to instill gratitude and presence in our daily lives.”
We can’t wait to meet you.
People are at the heart of everything we do. Driven by relationships and powered by the Federation, our team works with shared purpose and values to create extraordinary community experiences.
